Wilma Mae Gerde, 80, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Carmel Manor, in Ft. Thomas, KY.  During her life, Wilma worked as a Dietary Aid at St. Charles Care Center.  She was a member of St. Augustine Church and Legion of Mary.  Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Bernard John Gerde.  She is survived by her daughters Cynthia “Cindy” Gerde of Cynthiana, KY, Lisa Gerde of Cincinnati, OH, and Daughter Karen Chapman of Cincinnati, OH, sons Vince Gerde of Ludlow, KY and Matt Gerde of Independence, KY.  She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren Samantha Gerde, Noelle Chapman, Autumn Chapman, AIsaac Chapman, and Mason Antrobus.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 9am until 10am at Carmel Manor Nursing Home.  The Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow and begin at 10am.  Interment will be at St. John Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.  Memorial Contributions may be sent to Carmel Manor 100 Carmel Manor Rd. Ft. Thomas, KY 41075
