William “Rick” Richard Anderson
William “Rick” Richard Anderson, 66, of Florence, KY passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Grant County surrounded by his family. Rick was a loving and hardworking man who worked in the plating industry for several years. He was a graduate of Newport High School, an avid fisherman, Bengals, Reds, and UK Basketball fan, but most important to Rick was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Adley.
He loved visiting the Smokey Mountains and the beaches in Florida. One of his favorite things to do was give his family and friends quirky nicknames. He had a great sense of humor and love to make people laugh.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, William and Phyllis Anderson, and his brother, Tim Anderson.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Melody Anderson (nee Rich); his son, Nathan Anderson; his sisters, Melissa (Marion) Davidson and Lisa Anderson, granddaughter Adley; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services for Rick will be held at a future date at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Cincinnati Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
