William McLaurine of Edgewood, Kentucky passed away on February 21, 2025 at Rosedale Green. 

Born on December 29, 1925, William lived a full and vibrant life of 99 years. He served his country with pride during his time in the Navy. Following his service, he worked as a sales manager for Prudential and MetLife Insurance. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Delores, with whom he shared many cherished memories, especially their love for travel. Together, they explored countless places, and Bill’s fondness for adventure never dwindled.

A true fan of old westerns and classic game shows, Bill found great joy in the simplicity and excitement of his favorite TV programs. He was also a proud and lifelong supporter of UK Basketball.

In addition to his beloved wife, Delores, William is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Annie McLaurine; his son, William McLaurine Jr.; his daughter in law, Lynn McLaurine, and two sisters.

He is survived by his dear close friend, Ronda Meconio; his grandson, Jack (Kaitie) McLaurine; and great-grandchildren, Bryant James McLaurine, Russsell Thomas McLaurine,Lydiya Elaine Redd, Leroy Dewitt McLaurine, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for William will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, Kentucky from 10:00am until 11:00am with a service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, Kentucky.
