Condolences from neighbors, Kurt and Carol Ruttencutter

Bill was such a sweet neighbor to us. We enjoyed visiting with he and Roberta-he grilled a great steak! He would thanks us with Tousey House gift cards in return for keeping their driveway clear in the winter. He will be missed by us very much.

A Special Neighbor and Friend… You are already missed

Bill was the definition of a great neighbor with his smiles and kind words. We loved talking with Bill as he had such interesting stories to tell about his life and how he had enjoyed it. He told us about how he and Roberta ran off and got married in secret but that they both planned to go on to separate colleges where they each had scholarships but their parents found out and told them they would go to college together and live a man and wife. It is such a sweet story of young love.
And love it certainly was as you watched him care for Roberta with her fading memory. He made sure to make special stops to get Roberta the desserts she had always liked.
But my favorite thing about Bill was when you told him a story, he really listened to you and engaged with you. He made us feel important to him.
The world could use more people like Bill!
