William Henry Boehmer, 92, of Ft. Mitchell, KY, passed away at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Ft. Thomas on January 16, 2021.  William was born in Covington, KY on April 13, 1928 to the late Albert Bernard and Gladys (Romes) Boehmer.  During his life, William served his country in the U.S. Army and was the  co-owner of Boehmer Decorating Centers for 46 years.  He was a member of St. Agnes Church for 42 years, a 26 year member of Ft. Mitchell City Council, and a 14 year volunteer with American Cancer Society and would drive patients to their treatments.  He was also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus since 1953 and a member of the Homebuilders Association.  In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Anna Marie Boehmer, infant son David, and brother Albert B. Boehmer.  He is survived by his children Mary Kathleen O’Conner (Gregory) of Randolph, NJ, Laura Jean Naviaux (Gene) of Ft. Mitchell, KY, Peggy Anne Kovarik (Glenn Wolf) of Erlanger, KY, Jeffrey Boehmer (Cynthia) of Ft. Collins, CO and Andrew B. Boehmer (Teresa Salentine) of Park Hills, KY, grandchildren Michelle Kovarik (Jeremiah Marden), Julie Naviaux (Seth Lee), Evan Kovarik (Tanya), Ryan Naviaux, and Kyle Naviaux, great grandchildren Tess Marden, Asher Kovarik and Henry Kovarik, brother Henry L. Boehmer, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Ginger.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 10am until 11am at St. Agnes Church in Ft. Wright, KY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 11:30.  Interment will be at Mother of God Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to the American Cancer Society 2808 Reading Rd.
