William Fisher

William P. (Bill) Fisher, age 72, passed away on March 30, 2015 after a long illness.
He was a resident of Florence Kentucky for the last 23 years and formerly of Valencia CA. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, sons Douglas and David, grandsons Austin, Mason and Dawson of Valencia, CA; sisters JoAnne Ivey of Bradenton Florida and Betty Lou Garrison of Indianapolis IN. Bill was an avid NASCAR fan, trying hard not miss any race during the season. He thoroughly enjoyed bringing motors back to life, from airplane engines to lawn mowers. He proudly served aboard the US Kitty Hawk in the early sixties. 50 years later, he is survived by his loyal brothers in arms, John Lalley and Joseph Hensley.
After his Navy discharge, he took his skills to Lake Central Airlines in Indianapolis IN and others across the country as mergers took place, finishing his career with Delta Airlines in Florence KY (CVG).
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Linnemann Family Funeral Home , Burlington is serving the family.
