William Bohl
William J. “Bill” Bohl, 36, passed away on Saturday, May 28th at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Mr. Bohl was a police officer with the Walton Police department, a police detective with the Cold Spring Police Department, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the American Police Officers’ Hall of Fame, a member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America, a member of the Lambda Epsilon Chi Honor Society of Beckfield College, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a member of Independence Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife Jean Bohl of Independence, sons, Anthony Bohl and Bryce Musto both of Independence, daughter Ajia McCord of Independence, parents, Peggy and Donald Bohl of Florence, brother, Richard Bohl (Susan) of Edgewood, sister, Donna Parsons (Nick) of Union, his uncle, Ronald Bohl of Southgate, and nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Bill Bohl Family Fund, C/O any U.S. Bank.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2nd, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 10:00 AM at St. Henry Church. Burial will follow at the Independence Cemetery. On-line condolences to: www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com .
