William “Bill” Joseph Frietch, 94, of Crestview Hills, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024, with his family by side.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from Glier’s meats as a meat cutter.  He was a parishioner at St. Pius X Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of St. John.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Hilda Frietch; siblings: twin, Mary Ann Ashcraft, Bernice Fussinger, Marjorie Zimmerman and Stanley Frietch; grandson, Nicholas Frietch; and great-grandson, Jayson Nicolay.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rosemary Frietch; children: Nancy Haskamp (the late Richard), Mike Frietch (Sarah) and Jeff Frietch (Joy); 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 AM, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 348 Dudley Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017. Burial will be held at St. John’s Cemetery, immediately following mass.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of donor’s choice.
