Wanda Perkins

Wanda Perkins, age 93, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, at Rosedale Green, surrounded by her beloved family.

Wanda was known for her strong work ethic, she dedicated many years of her life to being a caring and dependable child care provider. Her nurturing nature touched the lives of countless children and families.

A protective and devoted mother, Wanda raised her family with firm but loving guidance. Her stern yet loving manner, combined with her exceptional cooking skills, made her home a place of warmth and comfort. She had a special talent for creating meals that brought people together. Wanda also enjoyed the simple pleasure of gardening.

Wanda was a long-time member of Erlanger Baptist Church, where she found strength and solace in her faith. 

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Bernard Brake and Jessamine Frances Brake (nee Burton). 

She is survived by her children; Karen Perkins, Tom (Annette) Perkins, and John Perkins, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed.
