Urban Lageman

ERLANGER ??” Urban J. Lageman Jr., 85, died Wednesday, May 6, at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Edgewood.

He was a service technician for 47 years with ABS Business Products, formerly Underwood-Olivetti Corporation in Cincinnati, a World War II Army veteran, member of St. Henry Church in Elsmere, Father Bealer Knights of Columbus 3908, Elsmere, Bishop Flaget Assembly in Covington, Prime Time Seniors Club, and served as a Eucharistic minister at St. Elizabeth Health Care.

Survivors include is wife of 61 years, Esther Anne Brake Lageman; sons, Dan Lageman of Union, Paul Lageman of Hebron, Jim Lageman of Florence, Bob Lageman of Erlanger; daughters, Rose Sutter of Burlington, Nancy Soper of Florence, Cathy Kellerman, and Patty Vest, both of Erlanger; sister, Virginia Garrett of Florence; 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, May 10, at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 11, at St. Henry Church in Elsmere. A reception will follow in the church undercroft. Entombment will be in Mother of God Mausoleum, Fort Wright.
