Trifonia Catalina Kendall

Trifonia Catalina Kendall, 89, of Florence, KY passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Florence Park Care Center.  Trifonia was born on October 18, 1934 in the Republic of Panama.  Throughout her life, Trifonia served as a substitute teacher at many different schools.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Elsmere, Eastern Star Kenton Chapter #40 where she was Eastern Star Worthy Matron in 1999, and enjoyed bowling.  Trifonia also loved cooking and was an excellent cook with a self published cookbook.  Her beloved husband Marion Douglas Kendall preceded in death.  She is survived by her daughter Gioconda Maria Kendall, son Hugo Douglas Kendall, daughter Kerima Mercedes DeCevik, granddaughter Malika DeCevik, sister Marva Hansell, nephew Alex Hansell, and niece Alma Hansell Carmichael.  A visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 12pm to 1pm at the First Baptist Church of Elsmere.  A funeral service will immediately follow.  Interment will be at Mary E. Smith Cemetery in Elsmere.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation https://www.parkinson.org
