Timothy Curtis Hughes, 62, of Walton, Kentucky, passed away on May 12, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Tim was born to Charles and Betty Hughes and was preceded in death by them and his beloved sisters, Judy Kessler, Peggy Hughes, and Michelle “Shelly” Hughes.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sally Hughes, his loving daughter, Amanda (Steve) Hite, and his cherished son, Evan Hughes. Timothy also leaves behind his stepdaughters, Kristine (Joey Demming) Waller and Heather (Justin) Macke, and stepsons, Brian Waller and Joshua Waller. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Braedan, Tevin, Levi, Bently, Cameron, Daevis, and Graysen.

Tim will be missed by his brother, Michael (Susan) Hughes, and his sisters, Vicki (Earl) Wyatt and Colleen (Troy) Williams. He is also remembered by his former wife and mother of his children, Theresa (Dean) Newman, and his loyal furry companion, Luke.

Tim’s passions were as vast as his heart. He found joy in riding motorcycles, casting his line while fishing, exploring the great outdoors, and navigating the waters in his kayak. An avid music enthusiast, he found solace in the melodies that surrounded him.

More than anything, Tim cherished the bonds of friendship and family. He was a beacon of light to many, always ready with a warm smile and a listening ear. His greatest moments were spent surrounded by those he held dear.

Atlanta Cousins with Happy Memories

We will all miss Tim too. Even though weve been apart too long, My childhood is filled with trips to Covington, creating many happy memories with all three Hughes families. Half of us have already moved on, and i am sorry Tim is leaving to be with so many recently departed relatives.

I know you’d get a kick out of that one buddy. We might be the only two who understand my condolence title. Gonna miss you friend. Really enjoyed your friendship and the bond we formed during those early 2000’s. So glad we got together last year and regretting the time we spent apart. So many memories I’ll never forget. I appreciate you.

Tim’s family and friends,

Our sincere sympathy to you all on the loss of Tim.
