Thomas Wayne Curley, 91, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at his Petersburg, KY residence.  Wayne was born in Independence, KY on October 24, 1932 to the late Thaddeus William and Edna Earl (Stephenson) Curley.  During his life, Wayne proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and went on to work as a boiler inspector for Royal Globe Insurance and later for the State Fire Marshall for Kentucky.  He went on to have his own businesses in cistern cleaning, antique signs, antique cars, and antique car parts.  In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Hilda and George Noe, sister Ornetta Noe, and sister-in-law Linda Powell.  He is survived by his wife of 68 years Joyce Curley, daughter Sherry Curley Regenbogen (Chip), son Gary Wayne Curley, grandchildren: Joy Regenbogen, Christopher J. Regenbogen (Hannah), Kyle Curley, Curtis Curley (Lesli), and Rebecca Jo Soward (Kevin), 12 great grandchildren, niece Vonda Simpson (Danny), sister-in-law Sandi Cunningham (Sonny), brother-in-law Don Powell, and nephews James William Noe and Terry Noe (Lisa).  A visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 11am until 1pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY.  A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation.  Interment will be at Hebron Lutheran Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Wayne to any Veteran’s organization.

I’m sad I didn’t get more with you it’s been probably 20 years since our last conversation I still live my life by some of the wisdom and advice you gave me and I’m forever grateful. The windows are always rolled down in heaven and I’m sure the lord had you a beautiful Packard waiting on you rest in peace wayne..
