ELSMERE ??” Thomas P. Brady, 81, died Saturday, July 4, at Woodcrest Manor in Elsmere. He was born on December 21, 1927 in Covington to Joseph and Irene (nee Kelly) Brady.
He was a self-employed salesman in the home improvement industry, a Korean War Army Veteran, and a member of the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington. He was very active in youth sports having coached baseball and basketball, and he was instrumental in the establishment of Covington Catholic High School Boosters. He loved and was devoted to his children, grandchildren, and his many friends.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret L. Towe Brady; sons, Patrick Brady of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Tommy P. Brady (phone 859-393-5189) of Covington; four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation is 11 a.m. ??” 1 p.m. Thursday, July 9, with a Memorial Mass following at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. The body will be cremated. Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger is serving the family.
