Thom Gore Jr.
Thom Gore Jr., 65 of Independence, passed away on August 10, 2023. Thom worked for Social Security as an Insurance Representative for over 30 years. He always enjoyed spending time at home with a good book.
He was preceded in death by his father: Thomas Gore Sr. and son: Eric Klette. Thom is survived by his wife of 33 years: Valerie Gore, son: Chris (Neal) Klette, mother: Beverly Gore, sister: Kathy Mays and brothers: Michael Gore and Joseph Gore.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Erlanger. Memorial contributions can be made to Special Olympics of Northern Kentucky. Online condolences can be left at www.LinnemannFuneralHomes.com.

To Thom’s Family & Friends
I was a high school classmate of Thom. We were also on the wrestling team together. Thom and I were in the same weight class and practiced and competed with each other. He was a good wrestler, always up for the challenge, and more important, a true sportsman. From the other condolences I’ve read, Thom certainly carried these traits forward in his life after high school. I sincere condolences and deepest sympathies for all those who were apart of his life. I only worked with Thom since 2016 but I have to say he was one of the most genuine, true people I have come to know. I will miss our little chats sitting at his desk and his sense of humor and his laugh was contagious…He will truly be missed in the office and as a friend…God Bless!!!

I remember Thom was a good kid. I say kid because it’s been that long since I’ve seen him. I remember he used to rock back and forth and he told me his mom and dad said he had to stop. We just laughed. Sorry Bev;).
