Theresa Renae Qually

Obituary
Condolences

Theresa Renae Qually, 50, of Lexington, KY peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic after a courageous hard-fought battle.

Theresa was employed at Smurfit Westrock for 18 years, as a Quality Production team member. She shared a particularly close inseparable bond with her brother, while being a devoted sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She captured every priceless moment whether it was a fun filled evening at a comedy club, country concerts, or simply spending time with her close-knit family and friends. But most of all, Theresa cherished every moment she could with her niece and nephews.

A selfless soul, Theresa was known for doing more for others than she did for herself. Her joy was found in giving, and she made it her mission to make others smile. She had a special gift for laughter, always bringing lightness and joy into every room she entered. Theresa’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Qually.

Theresa is survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law, David and Shelley Qually; nephews, Kyle Qually (Hope Garza) and Nathan Qually (Danielle Polewski); and niece, Emma Reese Qually.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes and Cremation Center Erlanger, KY.

Sending prayers

My name is Karen Noel, she knew me as Middleton. I had the pleasure to work along beside your sweet Theresa for four years on night shift at WestRock. She was the sweetest person yet you also didn’t want to double cross her because I did get to witness her little fiery side if you made her mad lol. Not towards me other coworkers lol. We shared many nights talking about families and life and she sure did love you guys!! She was super proud to call each of you her family! She loved you all deeply as well! I must say she was more than my coworker she was my friend. She was there for me through my biggest storm in my life. She was there to lift me up on nights my heart was breaking from my mom’s battle with ovarian cancer. She truly was the one person there for me during that. She was there after she passed away as well. I’m deeply sorry for your alls lose with such a amazing, loving soul as Theresa was and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. My condolences to you all and may we all carry her legacy on.

Sorry for your loss.

I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss. Sending you strength and peace during this challenging time. May the love and support of those around you provide solace and strength in the days ahead. My thoughts are with you.

Thoughts and Prayers

So so sorry for your loss! My name is Patty, Theresa and I were hired on the same day and spent a lot of 12 hour shifts together, until she refused to come to day shift with me, lol. I loved her, she was such a good person and fun to work with. She loved her family and always talked about her niece and nephews and showing me pics of them growing up. We will all truly miss Theresa, my heart is aching so much right now. Prayers for healing!!
