Terrence Garnett

INDEPENDENCE – Terrence Russell (Terry) Garnett, 65, of Fairfield, Ohio, formerly of Independence, died May 30 at Takoda Trails Group Home in Fairfield.

Terry attended Redwood School in Fort Mitchell, participated in Northern Kentucky Special Olympics and received several gold medals, participated at Creative Learning Workshop in Fairfield, was a huge Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals and UK Wildcats fan, and an active member of St. Henry Church, Elsmere.

Survivors include his sisters, Cheryl Garnett of Blue Ash, and Sylvia Jacob of Miamisburg, Ohio; brothers, David Garnett of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Dennis Garnett of Florence; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 4 at Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5 at St. Henry Church in Elsmere. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery.
