Susan Morrison

Susan Myers Morrison, age 77, of Edgewood, Ky., died on Friday, June 3, 2011 at her residence. Survivors include her husband, Jim Morrison, of 58 years; daughters, Jenny M. Beck of Edgewood, Becky M. (Steve) Yenser of Marietta, GA., Sally M. (Jerel) Treas of Lakeside Park; sons, Steve (Ann’g) Morrison of Edgewood, and Jeff (Lisa) Morrison of Ryland Heights; her sister, Nancy Himmler Brinkman of Erlanger; grandchildren, Amy Beck Neal, Christy Beck Martin; Zach, Brett, and Susan Yenser; Brad, Mark, John, and Scott Treas; Jim, Nick, Kevin, and Kyle Morrison; Kaitlyn, Taylor, Josh, Nicole, Jacob, and Luke Morrison; 8 great-grandchildren.
Susan lived by Matthew 22: 37-38. Jesus replied, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…and love your neighbor as yourself.” Susan was an active member of Anchor Church; a board member of the Covington Ladies Home and the Northern Kentucky Children’s Home; she was president of Booth Hospital Auxiliary and the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary; and she was a Northern Kentucky University Regent.
Susan bequeathed her body to the University of Cincinnati College Of Medicine. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, at Lakeside Christian Church, 195 Buttermilk Pike, Lakeside Park, Ky. Visitation with the family will follow the service in the church foyer.
