Stella J. Woods

Stella Jane Woods, 61, of Florence, KY passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY. Stella was a wife, mother and grandmother, and her family was always her top priority. She loved her grandchildren dearly and they were her pride and joy.  For work, Stella was a master stylist at Fiesta Salons in Taylor Mill, KY for 35 years. She was an avid reader, and she was a BINGO enthusiast. She loved getting together with her bingo gals and going out for a night of fun.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Arvis Blaine and Joyce Tucker, and her sister, Tina Garcia. Stella is survived by her loving husband of 37 years: Ed Woods, her beloved children: William Woods and Rebecca Roberts (Cameron), her cherished grandchildren: Bentley, Lexus, Blake, Lacey and Bodhi Roberts, her dear siblings: Jessie Blaine, David Tucker (Gail) and Anthony Blaine (Sara), and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held for Stella on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A service will be held immediately following at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Burlington Cemetery concluding the service, and a reception will be held at Linnemann Event Center following the burial from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
