Stan D. Watson

Stan D. Watson, 71, of Union, KY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at University of Cincinnati Hospital.  He was born in Covington, KY on December 5, 1951.  Stan was a devoted family man and was successful at being a father.  He enjoyed fly fishing, woodworking, cooking, and baking.  Throughout his life, Stan cared for his family by working at Deluxe Check Printers, Pomeroy Computers, and owned and operated All Sports Trophy Shop, Our Place Too, and Fusion Restaurant.  He was preceded in death by his mother Viola Winford and mother in law Viola “Barb” Krohn.  He is survived by his high school sweetheart of 53 years and wife of 48 years Kathy Watson, son Clint Watson (fiancé Rachel Boggus) and their daughter  Vivienne Rayne Watson, daughter Nicole Watson, and brother Dennis Watson (Micki).  A memorial service will take place on Sunday, July 16, 2023 6pm at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.  In lieu of flowers or gifts a donation can be made in the memory of Stan to Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer (SPOHNC) an organization that provides support for people with oral and head and neck cancer.  Online Donations can be made at  https://spohncstore.org/pages/donate or mailed to SPOHNC: Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer, P.O.
