Sr. Marta Feder, OSB

Sister Martha Feder, OSB, died peacefully Saturday, July 14 at St. Walburg Monastery at age 94. A Benedictine sister for over 74 years, Sr. Martha most recently served in the Worship Office of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Prior to that, she served as a teacher at numerous Catholic elementary and high schools and as principal at Villa Madonna Academy Elementary and as novice director at St. Walburg Monastery. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alphous and Margaret Jennings Feder, her sisters, Marcella Hageman and Helen Kennedy and her brothers, Alfred and Robert. She is survived by nieces, friends and her Benedictine community. Vigil service will be held at 7:00 pm, Sunday, July 22 followed by visitation until 9:00 pm and the Mass of Christian Burial at 5:20 pm, Monday, July 23 at St. Walburg Monastery.
