Sherry Leilani Gentry
Sherry Leilani Gentry, 76, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. Sherry was born on March 7, 1948 to the late Howard and Lucille Teter. During her life Sherry worked as a secretary and later a teacher’s aide. She enjoyed interior design, floral design, scrapbooking, and crafting. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Thomas Dale Gentry, daughters Ginger Kay Gentry and Misty Renee’ McGonegle (Jerry), and grandchildren: Kylie Feltner, Hannah Jones, Thomas Jack Jones, Chase McGonegle, and Dylan McGonegle. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 11am at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will follow the graveside services and be held at Valle Escondido Mexican Grill, 8863 US-42, Union, KY 41091.
