Shannon Jones

Shannon Jones (nee: Kaiser) 60, of Florence, KY passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. Mrs. Jones worked as a bus aide for the Boone County Public Schools and as a cashier at Meijer. She was a volunteer for many years with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Florence Volunteer Fire Department, a member of St. Paul Church in Florence, and provided assistance to families in need with turkeys at Thanksgiving and toys at Christmas. She was a breast cancer survivor, and a strong supporter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. She loved her special needs children on the school bus on which she served as an aide. She is survived by her son, Christopher Kaiser Jones (Heather) of Elsmere, KY, her sisters: Sherry Skelton (Bob) of Walton, KY, Debby Schaeffler (the late Jim) of Union, KY, Diane Koehler (Tom) of Florence, KY, and Beth Landwehr (Ken) of Erlanger, KY. She is also survived by one grandchild, Colton Kaiser Jones, and one nephew and several nieces. Visitation will be held at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 PM. A service will follow at the funeral home at 7:00 PM. Entombment will occur at the convenience of the family at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorial donations are suggested to the Susan G.
