Scott N. Houp Sr.

Scott N. Houp Sr., 67, of Erlanger, KY, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at UK Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY.  Scott was born in Kittery, ME on June 9, 1954 to the late Donald and Rosalie (Grant) Houp.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service.  Scott was a member of St. Henry Church, an Eagle Scout, and a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.  He enjoyed golf, the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and above all spending time with his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his sister Gail Melita, brother Timothy Houp and brother-in-law Erik Seastead.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years Lois Schmeing Houp, son Scott Houp Jr. (Christina), daughter Laura Mohr (Shane), daughter Angela Anstaett (Brent), daughter Jill Legg (Will), grandchildren: Sophia, Cade, Kayleigh, Rosalie, Ivan, and Penny, siblings: Donald Houp Jr. (Phyllis), Cheryl Wilson (Daniel), Janice Seastead, Richard Houp (Susan), and Robert Houp (Elizabeth), brother-in-law Mike Melita, and numerous nieces and nephews.  A visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 10am until 11am at St. Henry Church in Elsmere, KY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow the visitation.  Interment will be at St. John Cemetery in Ft.
