I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. We went to school together for many years. He was always cracking jokes and such a sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers go out to his dear family. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I am so terribly sorry to learn about the passing of Scott! Scott and I attended Bethany College together and we pledged Sigma Nu Fraternity at Bethany. I have great memories of him especially when he was directly involved with something that changed my life in a most profound, positive way on April 10th, 1989!! He was the first to directly commend me and I will cherish that forever as well as my overall loving memory of Scott. God bless his soul as well as the rest of everyone in his family!

I’m so sad to hear this news. I believe I only spent about 20 hour or so with Scott in my lifetime and it was all on the golf course for a work charity tournament. In that short time I was able to consider him a friend and one of my favorite people on this earth. He has left a lasting impression on me and I will never forget him.

I have to say Scott made my time here at Fifth Third Bank a very memorable one – I will never forget the lessons he had taught me along the way (that I still utilize to this day) here at the bank. The stories we had shared was epic. He will truly be missed.

I had the privilege of working with Scott for the past 15 years. During that time we attended many meetings so I was blessed to get to know him. His optimistic outlook and jovial personality was contagious and no matter what my day was like it was better after a conversation with Scott. I will miss you Scott! When I think of Scott, I think of how his personality could fill a room. He was one of the first people I met at FTB and left an indelible impression. Scott was so much to our organization but mostly he was a friend. He could tell a joke and have fun at the drop of a hat and then turn back into business mode and make things happen.

Although I only had the pleasure of working with Scott for 2 years since I’ve been at the Bank, he has made a huge impact on the way I craft solutions to our clients/prospects. I’ll never forget the 20+ years that I have known Scott and his vibrant and fun loving demeanor. He was passionate about so many things. I remember our weekends that date back to the 90’s enjoying back yard BBQ’s and parties with he and Kristi and the Stone’s; so much fun and way too short of a life. I will miss you my friend. Rest in peace and my prayers go out to the family.

Scott hired me at Fifth Third Bank in 2001. He was the best boss I ever had in my life. He loved life like no one else I ever knew. I am so sorry for the loss to his family, who I know he loved dearly.
