Ryane Gutzeit

Ryane Marie Gutzeit, age 41, was born on November 10, 1984 and went to her heavenly home surrounded by family on July 5, 2026 after a year, long courageous battle with cancer.

Baptized into the Catholic faith, Ryane attended both Saint Henry’s elementary school and Saint Henry District high school where she graduated in 2003. She was planning on going back to school when her cancer diagnosis was made.

Ryane’s infectious smile brought a bit of sunshine to everyone that was blessed to know and love her. Ryane never turned down a chance to spend time with others. She especially loved being with her family, whether it was a sunny vacation, doing puzzles with her.G-mal, laying by the pool or lake and just hanging out at home, doing Wordle with her dad.

Ryane loved the holidays, especially Christmas, where she got to enjoy time with her large extended family; aunts and uncles and her fun loving cousins. She also loved spending time with her cherished friends, whether they were friends from high school, her Bunko group or places she worked at. In particular was Skyline Chili, where Ryane established long lasting friendships with both her coworkers and customers.

Ryane is survived by loving parents, Dave and Natalie Gutzeit, her siblings, Tara, Joe and Abby Gutzeit, her grandmother, Janet Elder, her niece, Berkley Gutzeit, many aunts, uncles and cousins and countless friends. She was preceded in death by Danny Gutzeit, Steve Gutzeit, Jenny Unkraut, Virginia and Edward Gutzeit, Jack Elder, Charlene Konerman and Shawn Williams.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10th at St. Henry Church in Elsmere, Kentucky with visitation from 10:30am-12:30pm, immediately followed by Mass at 12:30pm. After Mass, everyone is invited to a Celebration of Life at the Lions Club in Florence (29 Lacresta Drive off Hwy. 42).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Ryane’s name. Envelopes will be available at the church or can be mailed in.
