Ruth Wolking

V. Ruth Wolking, 88, formerly of Erlanger, died at Brookdale of Finneytown, Saturday July 20th, 2013. She was an employee of Maryland Casualty Insurance for 35 years and during World War II she worked for Midwest Radio. She was a graduate of St. Henry High School, a lifelong member of St. Henry Church, she was a member of the Erlanger Historical Society, American Business Women’s Association, the Benedictine Guild and she was a volunteer at Booth Hospital in Florence. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Wolking of Louisville, and her sister, Dorothea Kemphaus of Erlanger. She is survived by her nephew, Ralph (Mary) Kemphaus of Cincinnati, and her niece, Janis (Larry) Broering of Edgewood. She also leaves behind 7 great nieces and nephews and 14 great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday July 26th, from 10AM-11AM at St. Henry Catholic Church, Elsmere. Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 11AM at the church. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the St. Henry High School Alumni Association 3755 Scheben Dr Erlanger, KY 41018.
