Ruth M. Schwarte

Ruth Margaret Schwarte, 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Village Care Center in Erlanger, KY.  Ruth was born in Covington, KY on October 26, 1925 to the late John and Clara Lehmkuhl.  She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy and a member of St. Paul Church.  Ruth was active as a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society and a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital.  In addition to her parents, Ruth was also preceded in death by her siblings Jerry Lehmkuhl and Betty Neel.  She is survived by her beloved son Gerry Schwarte, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends Jerry and Karen Landwehr.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10AM at St. Paul Catholic Church in Florence, KY.  The interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society c/o St. Paul Church 7301 Dixie Hwy.
