Ruth Depenbrock

Ruth Evelyn “Umpty” Depenbrock, 85, passed away on Saturday April
23rd, at Emeritus Senior Living in Edgewood. Mrs. Depenbrock was a
vibrant woman who was involved in many volunteer activities in her
community. She volunteered in many endeavors at St. Paul Church in
Florence, was a long time volunteer at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, a
volunteer at BeCon, active in Marriage Encounter and in the Diocese of
Covington Cursillo Movement. Mrs. Depenbrock was preceded in
death by her husband, Paul Elmer Depenbrock and her granddaughter,
Kristy Depenbrock. She is survived by her sons: Tony Depenbrock (Alga)
of Florence, Terry Depenbrock (Rosie) of Burlington, Tom Depenbrock
(Martha) of Park Hills, and Tim Depenbrock (Deanna) of Frankfort. She
is also survived by her sister, Joann Bode of Crestview Hills, her
brother, James Dahlenburg of Villa Hills, 11 grandchildren and 16 great
grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27th from 4-
7PM at St. Paul Church in Florence. Mass of Christian burial will follow
at 7PM. Burial will be on Thursday, April 28th at 10AM at St. John
Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. Linnemann Funeral Home is handling
