Ruie Stewart

Ruie Collins Stewart (Rae), age 83, died Monday at St. Elizabeth HealthCare Medical Center in Florence. She was a resident of Florence, KY and worked as the head cook at Thomas Moore College for 25 years. She loved gardening and being with her family. Ruie was predeceased by two husbands, Orbin Collins and Gayle Stewart as well as a son Michael Ray Collins.
Survivors include her children Brenda Gail Ferrell, Sandra Lynn Harvey, Donna Lee Fleet, Deborah Kay Carney , Pamela Sue Hudgens, Kathy Jo Besselman, Timothy Wayne Collins, Connie Jean McDine and Roger Glen Collins. Ruie was grandma to 20 grandchildren and great grandma to 15 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday 4-8pm at Linnemann Family Funeral Home, Burlington. Services will be held Monday, 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery. www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com
