Thank you

When I think of Uncle Buck, I think of laughter and a smile. Of a little brother who would try to get a reaction from his older sisters as an adult as i am sure he did when he was young. Of sayings that will stick with me, but I cannot repeat. Of someone that I looked to after I lost my Dad, and could be gruff but also patient. Time at the farm, fishing, spending the night, picking strawberies and stories I tell my grandchildren today about my uncle Buck. He must have influenced me, otherwise how do you explain my facination with Johnny Cash. Although I did not see him often as a adult, he was always in my memories. Heaven will be a livelier place.

Fun patient

I was one of Buck’s nurses at Villaspring and it was a pleasure. I am so blessed that I had the opportunity to get to know him and his wonderful family. My condolences to his family.

He will be missed

Growing up, we would greatly look forward to going out to Uncle Buck and Aunt Marlyn’s farm. We would fish, swim and sometimes Uncle Buck would teach us to shoot rifles. Uncle Buck always made sure we had a fun filled time. Whenever I see a Pontiac Bonneville I immediately think of Uncle Buck and riding in the back of his red convertible Bonneville heading up to Hebron.
With much and condolences,
William Brummer
