Ron Nicodemus

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Ronald “Ron” Nicodemus, age 55, of Florence, Kentucky, on March 30, 2025.

Ron was a devoted husband, father and friend. He worked tirelessly as a truck driver since 2006 and later became the proud owner of his own trucking company, Ron Nicodemus Trucking. Ron’s dedication to his work was matched only by his love for his family. A true provider, he worked hard every day to ensure the well-being of those he loved.

A big family man at heart, Ron was always just a call away and ready to lend a hand. He had an easygoing nature that made him a good sport and a cherished tagalong on many family gatherings. His love for old country music and his talent as a handyman were just a few of the things that brought him joy in life. 

He was the kind of man who never missed a daddy-daughter putt-putt date or an excuse for frozen yogurt. No matter how far the road took him, he always made sure to plan a special night out with his wife when he came home—just the two of them, reconnecting.

Family game nights were sacred, full of laughter and the occasional playful rivalry. He cherished the holiday traditions he helped create with his wife and children—rituals that turned into lasting memories.

Ron leaves behind his beloved wife, Alicia Bodle; his children, Alexyss Bodle, Zach (Laura Loechle) O’Flaherty, and Mack (Heather) O’Flaherty; his mother, Sue McLaughlin; brothers, Chuck (Kim) Nicodemus and Rob Nicodemus; his step father, Bill McLaughlin; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and 8 grand cats, all of whom will miss him deeply.

A visitation for Ron will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, Kentucky from 12:00pm until 1:00pm with a service being held at 1:00pm.

Ron’s legacy of hard work, love, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Services will be held at a later date.

May he rest in peace, forever remembered for the love and joy he brought into the lives of those who knew him.
