Robert Rodgers

Robert (Bob) Rodgers, 79, of Edgewood, KY passed away Monday, October 17, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. Bob was an Army Veteran and served during the Korean War in Japan as a member of the Far East Command, and he worked at AT&T as an Associate Engineer. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter Rebecca Sue Kinkead. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy of Edgewood, KY; son Robert Rodgers of Erlanger, KY; daughter Linda (David) Clark of Grove City, OH; son-in law Michael Kinkead of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Joshua (Kristine) Wright, Joseph and Rachael Kinkead, and Matthew and Zachary Clark; great granddaughter Adyson Wright; honorary grandchildren Mckenzie and Carson Wood, Tristan and Andrew Stamm; brother George (Ruth) Rodgers of Medina, OH; Nieces, Nephews, and countless Friends. The family will receive visitors from 10am until 12 noon with a memorial service to follow at 12 noon on Saturday October 22, 2011 at Erlanger Christian Church at 27 Graves Avenue, Erlanger, KY 41018. Celebration of life service will take place Sunday October 30, 2011 at Peace United Methodist Church, 2169 Ferris Road, Columbus, OH 43224, at 4 pm; the family will receive visitors from 3pm to 4pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Camp Sychar, at 201 Sychar Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050-1365 or the Edgewood Fire/EMS Association, at 385 Dudley Pike, Edgewood, KY 41017.
