Robert Pope

Robert G. (Bobby) Pope, 50, of Florence, Ky., died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. He was a tow truck driver and supervisor for 32 years at Bob’s Towing Service, Florence. He coached baseball for Boone County Knothole and the Southwest Ohio League. His daughter, Amanda, died previously.
Survivors include his: son, Joe of Florence; parents, Bob and Pat Pope of Elsmere; sister, Jackie (Kevin) Flynn of Fort Mitchell; brothers, Mike (Brenda) and Tom (Angela) both of Villa Hills; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday, April 1, at St. Henry Church, Elsmere. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
