Richard Stevenson

Richard O. Stevenson, 68, of Edgewood, Ky., died Sunday, May 8, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. Above all, Richard loved his Lord. He was a claims adjuster for State Farm Insurance Company in Northern Kentucky, Metro Insurance Company, Covington, and Grange Insurance Company in Cincinnati. He was a painter and a philosopher. He was a life-time member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Covington, where he served on the vestry; played the trumpet in the Trinity Brass, and the guitar with the Prayer and Share Group. He also worked with the Covington Community Center. Survivors include his: wife, Lisa Stevenson; daughters, Cindy (Rob) McCracken of Cary, NC, and Bethany (Steve) Cordero of Chicago, IL; son, David Stevenson of Covington; mother, Mary Elizabeth Stevenson of Covington; brother, Charles Stevenson of Orange County, CA; and grandchildren, Patrick Stevenson, Cora McCracken, and Amicah Cordero. Visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 12th, at Trinity Episcopal Church, with service to follow at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
