Richard Hellmann

Richard “Dick” Hellmann, 78, of Erlanger, died Thursday June 13th, 2013 at St. Elizabeth in Florence. He was a Production Control Manager for GE for 42 years, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a prominent member of the Dixie Area Knothole baseball league for 23 years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Hellmann; and his brothers, Charles and Robert Hellmann. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hellmann of Erlanger; his daughters, Lisa (Marc) Allen of Cincinnati, and Jenny Hellmann of Erlanger; his sons, Greg (Sue) Hellmann of Erlanger, Steve (Elizabeth) Hellmann of Ocala, FL, Mark (Carrie) Hellmann of Burlington, and Michael (Erin) of Ft. Thomas; and his sisters, Jean (Bill) Mersch of Union, and Rosie (Sonny) Brauch of Bardstown, KY. He also leaves behind his 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday June 18th, 2013 from 5PM-8PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY. A funeral service will be on Wednesday June 19th at 10AM at Linnemann Funeral Homes.
