Condolences

Raymond Wenger, aged 63, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024. Raymond was born on September 30, 1960 to Mary Delheimer and the late Roy Wenger in Streator, Illinois.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Rebba Wenger, his brothers; Alan and Terry Wenger, his mother, Mary Delheimer, his wife’s many siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his beloved cat, Bubba.

He will be remembered fondly for his adventurous spirit and love for the great outdoors. Raymond was a true lover of nature, finding solace and happiness in the sport of fishing. 

Beyond his love for nature, Raymond had a simple pleasure in life – tacos from Taco Bell. His love for tacos was a testament to his appreciation for life’s simple joys.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

I met Red when I worked at Perfetti Van Melle with him and his wife Rebba. Sincere condolences for him and Rebba as I saw him in March this year not realizing it would be my last. Just found out about his passing. May he found peace and comfort.
