Ray was always smiling

I’m so sorry to hear of Ray’s passing, and my condolences go out to his family. Though Ray retired before I joined UC’s Math Department, he would occasionally stop in the Department, and was always smiling and laughing, and talking about ballroom dancing. What a positive and lovely soul, who will be missed.

Carer

Papa as I fondly call you, working and knowing you is one of the greatest privilege I have ever had. Taking care of an erudite professor of Mathematics, which was my best subject, gives me great joy. I learnt quite a number of things from you, out of which is placing family first. Your values and humility speaks volumes. I know the host of heaven will be singing melodies of welcome to you. You have come, saw and conquer, indeed you are a fighter till the end. You conquer death rather you are resting at the blossom of the Lord! Sleep well Papa, may your gentle, loving and kind soul rest in perfect peace.

Jummy

My step father

Raymond was married to my mom, Nancy. She absolutely loved and adored him and his family. I am sorry that she is not being recognized but I know he loved her.

Great man

I loved Ray, he was married to my mother in law, Nancy Perry until he passed. My children loved him greatly. He will be greatly missed.
