Phyllis Summers

SPRING CITY TN, Phyllis Ann Summers, 76, formerly of Covington, passed away on September 29th at Rhea County Medical Center in TN. She worked as a teller for US Bank for 14 years. She was a member of Staffordsburg Methodist Church in Independence, an avid embroider and seamstress and a member of the Taylor Mill Homemakers for several years. Survivors include her husband Maurice Leroy (Lee) Summers of Spring City TN, son Randall Lee (Chritie) Summers of Independence, daughter Jodie Lee Ann (Dennis) Kindoll of Independence, sister Charlene Anctil of Vera Beach FL, grandchildren Steven Lee Summers, Codi Lee Kindoll, Megan Alyse Kindoll, Amy Courtney, Kelly Williams and Heidi Summers. Her body was donated to the the Vanderbilt Anatomical Donation Program in Nashville TN. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association 5211 Madison Rd Cincinnati OH 45227.
