Perry Austin

Perry “Duke” L. Austin, 89, of Erlanger, KY passed away Tuesday October 4, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. Duke was employed for 25 years at Wiedeman Brewery. Duke was past president of Campbell County Kawanis, a member of Cincinnati Associate Police Captains, Kentucky Colonel, Kentucky Admiral, Former secretary and treasurer of Cincinnati Grocery Manufactures, Ft Mitchell Country Club, Campbell Lodge for Boys, Bellevue Vets, and the greater Cincinnati Convention Bureau and is a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife Marion Austin (Holloran), and his daughter Catherine Green. He is survived by his son Thomas Austin of Covington, grandchildren Thomas Austin of Erlanger, Nicholas Austin of Alexandria, Jimmy Green of Edgewood, Michael Green of Florence, Autumn Green of Edgewood, sisters Francis Wright of Newport KY, Dorothy Baumann of Dayton KY, Joan Anewalt of Huntsville AL. Also surviving are 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday October 10th from 10am to 12pm with funeral services to follow at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Burial will be held at St Mary’s Cemetery in Ft Mitchell. Memorials may be made to the Campbell Lodge for Boys 5161 Skyline Drive Highland Heights KY, 41076.
