Peggy Hammons Alig, 59, died Wednesday September 22nd at her home in Burlington. She was an administrative assistant with Toyota in Hebron Ky. She was preceded in death by her brothers Daniel and Robert Hammons and sister Theresa Vetter. Survivors include her daughter Amy Flener of Burlington, son Capt. Joe Alig USMC of Hebron, granddaughters Haley and Olivia Flener of Burlington. Mother Anna Mae Darpel Hammons. Sisters Sandra Chabre of Park Hills, Mary Jo Eads of London Ky, Rita Rothert of Kenton Hills, Carol Russell of Lexington, Betty Jane DeVita of Lakeside Park. Brothers Michael J. Hammons of Park Hills, Tom Hammons of Taylor Mill Ky, Sam Hammons of Northern California. Visitation will be held Tuesday September 28th from 4 to 7pm at Linnemann Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Center in Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday September 29th at 11am at St Anthony Church in Taylor Mill. Burial will be held at Mother of God Cemetery in Covington KY.
