Patricia McGrath

Patricia Kidney McGrath, 82, passed away Wednesday May 25th at her home in Edgewood, KY, surrounded by family.  Patricia was born March 14, 1940 at her home in Highland Heights, Kentucky. From a young age, Patricia was a beacon of kindness and love to all those around her. She met her husband, Ben McGrath, through a church softball league and the two married September 3rd 1960. They were soon blessed with 6 children: Ray, Pam, Barb, Wayne, Sheri, and Phil.  Patricia attended St. Pius X Parish and was an active member of the Catholic church. Her faith knew no bounds and carried her throughout her life. Other hobbies included bowling, playing cards, and crocheting.  She is survived by her husband, along with her six children, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many, many friends. Patricia will be especially remembered by those who affectionately called her PK, Mom, Grandma, MawMaw, and Nanny for her beautiful soul and profound connection to each of her family members.  A visitation will be held at St. Pius X church in Edgewood on Wednesday, June 1st from 9:00-10:00am, followed by a memorial mass at 10:00am.  Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society www.Donate3.cancer.org  send e-card to [email protected]
