Patricia Louella Leslie Doane, “Pat”, peacefully passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the age of 78 in the presence of her husband, Douglas L. Doane (Doug) and son, Christopher Michael Doane (Chris) at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on August 15, 1946, to her father, William H. Leslie Sr. and mother, Elizabeth Rebecca Wilson. Pat and Doug have lived in Walton (Richwood) Kentucky for 47 years. Pat grew up in Bromley, Kentucky, the city she dearly loved. She was graduated from Dixie Heights High School in 1965.

Pat dearly loved family and especially at the Christmas time of the year. She lovingly looked forward to hosting her annual New Year’s Day/Christmas party with all her many nieces and nephews (53+) to keep them close so they wouldn’t grow apart. She looked forward to this event every year. It was the highlight of her year and what she lived for.

She also enjoyed teaching and coaching junior bowlers and being the bowling league coordinator while working at Super Bowl Erlanger for over 20 years. She managed the Saturday Junior Leagues and their Scholarship Fund which distributed over $50,000 in scholarships to help junior bowlers achieve their educational goals. Her junior bowlers were very proficient and won many tournaments, scratch, and handicap, in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area while she was coach.

Pat also loved and enjoyed designing and crafting beaded jewelry. She attended local high school craft shows such as Cooper, Ryle, and Lakota West in Cincinnati. She had many followers and looked forward to the yearly shows.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of over 59 years, Doug, son Chris (Michelle) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and her loving grandchildren, Maya of Ft. Collins, Colorado, and Connor of Boulder, Colorado. Other survivors are her brother, William H. Leslie Jr. (Georgia), and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, 483 South Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017. Arrangements are Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, Kentucky. Burial will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, Kentucky.
