Obie M. Henderson

Obie M. Henderson, 93, entered eternal life on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Carmel Manor in Ft. Thomas, KY. Son of the late Obie F. and Verna Henderson, Obie was a Navy Veteran of WWII, member of the local VFW, and an avid golfer. He retired from Interlake Steel and Erie Copper Works, was a member of the Iron Steel Engineers Institute and a NKY Baseball Hall of Famer.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings. Obie will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 75 years, Rosemary Henderson; their children: John (Kay) Henderson, Gary (Lisa) Henderson, Dave (Janet) Henderson, Mark (Barb) Henderson and Sherri Grady; his brother Chester Henderson; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 at Linnemann Family Funeral Home in Burlington, KY with a break for reception at 12:00 PM at the Linnemann Event Center. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia, KY.
