Norma Jean Moore

Norma Jean Moore, 88, of Fort Wright, KY passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at Rosedale Green, in Latonia, KY. She was born May 11, 1933 in Covington, KY to the late Carl and Helen Miller. Norma was a proud member of Latonia Christian Church, and she loved her church family. She was also the former secretary of the Lookout Heights Civic Club in Ft. Wright, KY. Norma was a very proud grandmother, and her grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved to bring the family together for any occasion. She was passionate about cooking and baking, and for part of her career she cooked for Kenton County Schools and for St. Elizabeth Hospital. Norma also had a green thumb and loved to garden; she was especially proud of her beautiful roses. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Ora Moore, her brother, Carl Miller Jr, and her son-in-law: Steve Hearne. Norma is survived by her loving children: Charles (Rae Anne) Moore Jr., Gary (Peggy) Moore, Carl (Michele) Moore, Terry (Carol) Moore, Don (Lisa) Moore, and Rebecca Hearne, her beloved grandchildren: Charles Moore III, Amy McNay, Suzanne Aseere, Melinda Capazzi, Ashley Greenawalt, Amanda Cooper, Tyler Moore, Nicole Moore, Katelyn Moore, Sara Moore, Emily Hearne, Brandon Hearne, and Jacob Hearne and her 16 cherished great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held for Norma on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 10am until 12pm at Linnemann Funeral Home, 30 Commonwealth Avenue, Erlanger, KY 41018. A service will be held following the visitation at 12pm at the Funeral Home. Following the service, Norma will be laid to rest next to her husband at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY.
