Noreen Mary Anne McKenna

Noreen Mary Anne McKenna, 84, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024. Born on July 13, 1940, in the Bronx, New York, Noreen lived a life filled with love, compassion, and friendship.

Noreen is survived by her cherished friends Carol Jacobs, Don Lieberum (Terrol), Shelly Shields, and a host of other dear friends and neighbors. She was known for her deep love of animals, especially her beloved cats, whom she cared for with great devotion. Noreen had a passion for cooking, often exploring her extensive collection of favorite cookbooks to create delicious meals for those she loved.

A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Both events will take place at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005.

Donations can be made in Noreen’s name to the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorn, NY, at Hawthorne Dominicans, the Boone County Animal Shelter at Boone County Animal Shelter, or the Shriners Hospital for Children at Shriners Hospital.

Noreen will be remembered for her kindness, her love for her animals, and the warmth she brought to the lives of all who knew her.
