Nona Hanson

Nona S. Hanson (nee Lee), 81, of Florence, KY passed away Monday May 21, 2012 at her residence. She retired after working several years as the Secretary and Bookkeeper at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Nona was very active at Gloria Dei in Sunday School, Women’s Circle, and the Preschool. She was also a member of New Friends of Northern Kentucky and PEO. She is survived by her Husband of 62 years Garry Hanson of Florence, KY, children David Hanson (Mary Anne) of Taylor Mill, KY and Andrea Hegna (Leonard) of Florence, KY, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, brother Richard Lee of Taylor Mill, KY and sisters Marcia Schaffer of Tucson, AZ and Lorraine Granzow of Eastman, WI. Nona was preceded in death by her parents Hilmer and Nora Lee, brother Artell Lee, and son Gary Hanson. A visitation will beheld 5pm until 645pm Friday May 25, 2012 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Crestview Hills, KY. The service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 7pm at the church. Entombment will be in Highland Cemetery Ft. Mitchell, KY.
