Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson, age 46, of Burlington, passed away on October 15, 2025. Michael brought joy to everyone who knew him. He loved being with his family. He also loved people-watching, regardless of what else may be going on. He enjoyed family pool parties and any other gatherings where his infectious laughter filled the air. He cherished long drives, traveling, and going on vacations, especially to Florida and Gatlinburg. Michael was deeply loved by his Redwood family and he always found joy in life’s simple moments and had a beautiful way of helping those around him appreciate them too.

Michael is survived by his parents: Beth and Tony Rose, aunts and uncles, Bo Kemper, Don (Jenni) Kemper, Rick (Brenda) Kemper, Jack (Mary) Kember and numerous cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his grand parents, Robert and Mary Kemper, William Thompson and his aunt and God Mother Ruth (Tootie) Kemper.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 11am to 1pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Burlington. A Catholic Blessing will immediately follow.
