Michael Robert Dauwe

Michael Robert Dauwe, 70, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. He is the son of Corletta Davis Dauwe and the late Robert George Dauwe.  Mike was born on March 26, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mike grew up in Erlanger, KY and was a 1972 graduate of St. Henry High School.  He worked at Kroger for many years as a frozen food manager before he retired.  Mike was an outstanding bowler in his younger days and loved the game. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. He bled blue for his Kentucky Wildcats too.  Mike loved nature and the outdoors, where he spent a lot of his time on his land and lake. He was an animal lover who had a special love for his dogs.  Mike was a simple man who loved his family and friends.  He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mike leaves behind his loving mother, Corlie Dauwe; brother, Joe (Nancy) Dauwe; sister, Peggy Dauwe; uncle, Ron Dauwe; niece, Shannon (Brian) Carnahan; great nieces, Haley, Kendall and one great nephew, Mason.

Preceding him in death is his father, Bob Dauwe.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Madonna Manor Adelaide Center 2344 Amsterdam Rd. Villa Hills, KY. A short Celebration of life will follow starting at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Mike’s name to the Kenton County Animal Shelter 1020 Mary Laidley Drive Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
