Michael R. Doerman

Michael R. Doerman, 65, of Burlington, KY passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at his residence.

Mike worked as a maintenance engineer for Levi’s for 47 years. Mike had a larger than life personality, always trying to make people laugh and have a good time. He was an avid music connoisseur, collecting music in a variety of mediums. He loved spending his time fishing and watching movies. On his days off, it was not uncommon to find Mike tinkering in this garage or checking on the rocks that he was polishing with his great-nieces and nephew. Mike was also an avid Bengals fan whose loyalty never waivered.

Mike was the life of the party. His loud and boisterous laugh made everything that much funnier.  He loved spending time with his close friends and family and was always willing to help, generous with both advice and lending a helping hand.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Clara Doerman; his sister, Melanie Doerman; his in-laws, Don and Louise Stamper; and his sister-in-law, Jeanne Doerman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Angie Doerman (nee Stamper); his children, Ally (Blake) Doerman-Bays and Mark (Ellie) Doerman;  his brother, Matt Doerman; and his many granddogs and grandcats.

Mike also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Celebration of Life visitation will be on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 11:00AM-2:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY. A memorial service will follow at 2:00PM at the funeral Home.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Boone County Animal Shelter to honor Mike’s love of animals.
